Difference of Import GPX files menu

There are two "Import GPX files" menus at the menu bar. What is difference of them?

Following are difference of the menu

[Edit] > [Import GPX files]

Mync searches all clips in the library by comparing selected GPX file.

[Edit] > [Clip] > [Import GPX files]

Mync compares between metadata of selected clip and selected GPX file.
